It doesnt just have unique gameplay and an interesting story, but its the most atmospheric game Ive played on -any- platform in quite a while. You will feel like you are in the cold and empty void of space along with the protagonist. Very recommended, I just wish there was more!

Could use a bit of polish, as is not uncommon with independent titles, but the story, pacing, and gameplay all feel just right. Really nicely done.

You get glimpses of well developed world--galaxy here, but the priority is simply survival. In this it seems linear, but that is what survival is. It isnt pretty. I loved it, still on my first play-through, section 8, as I write this. Already I cannot wait for the rest of it. To the developer, PLEASE CONTINUE THIS!

I personally dont like mobile games, since most of them are just a senseless cash grab. But this game would make one of my best mobile games ever. It takes simplicity and gives it a simple story, but its also very addictive. It has the perfect mix of innovation and good gameplay. But this game is up there with Thomas Was Alone and Faster Than Light. There are only one or two bad things about this game and me pointing them out would be me nitpicking. So play this game you will not regret it.

This game... The only reason I can imagine its not in the Top Ten of the App Store is because its made by an indie studio (which it is) that is kind of down on its luck (which Blackish Studios is). The story is compelling, the physics are fantastic, and the gravitation engine is just plain great. If only this game got more attention, it would definitely be one of the App Stores all-time greats. However, due to a lack of funds, Blackish cant pay to have fake reviews and such. This game deserves the $2.99 I paid for it. Every cent was more than worth it. Despite it being a semi-short (about 2 hours for the story) game, New Orbit is a great experience for anyone. Help an Indie studio out. Enjoy a great story. Feel the amazing physics. Just buy it already. New Orbit.

I cannot wait for the second chapter of New Orbit. There are many aspects of this game that make it fantastic: realistic gravity/orbital mechanics, engaging plot that has you on the edge of your seat, believable game world rich with details, simple controls but challenging scenarios, great voice acting, and an immersive feel. Im hooked and will buy the second chapter, which will have many more aspects to it, the day it comes out. This is exactly the type of game I have been craving and I cant find anything that comes close to it. Big thanks to the developers.

If only you could control the ship from behind so your hand wouldnt be in the way of the screen. That simple option would make this playable.
